Impress was established in 1989 and has grown into an award winning environmental print company and one of the most successful, highly regarded and innovative print and communication providers in the South East.
This is Impress Print’s 2nd year of carbon reporting and certification to The Planet Mark. First year Certification to The Planet Mark is based on the commitment to continuous improvement in sustainability in its business operations by measuring and reducing its carbon footprint by 5% annually and engaging its stakeholders.
Impress Print first measured the carbon emissions of its operations for the year ending December 2018 and setting a target to reduce emissions by 5% annually. The company recorded a carbon reduction of 17.1%, resulting in a total carbon footprint of 327.7 tCO2e. The relative carbon footprint was 3.86 tCO2e per employee, a decrease of 22% compared to the year ending 2017. This year’s footprint includes emissions associated with electricity, natural gas, and fleet. Impress Print recorded a reduction in electricity by 16.9% and travel emissions by 18.8%.
