Julius Rutherfoord & Co believes its strong commitment to protecting and having a positive impact on the environment is integral to its success as a business. From low-water usage technologies to non-chemical cleaning agents in pre-dosed dispensers; as well as its award–winning contract management app which reduces paper consumption, the company has several initiatives to reduce its impact on the environment.
The cleaning industry is primed for real change in sustainability. Through taking close care of its supply chain, becoming knowledgeable about the impacts of chemicals in cleaning supplies and their correct disposal, the industry and its clients can quickly become much more resilient to the impacts of climate change in the future. As businesses more widely become more aware of the environmental impact of their supply chains, the cleaning industry will have to react accordingly to promote sustainable products and practices.
