Steve Malkin, Founder and CEO of The Planet Mark, said: “I’m thrilled to have Phoenix Managed Services join us at The Planet Mark. Our need to fight climate change has never been greater and it’s so encouraging to see businesses like Phoenix Managed Services acknowledge the need to change. The team is dedicated and primed to develop its sustainable policies, and I look forward to our continuing partnership.”
First year certification to The Planet Mark is based on the commitment to continuous improvement in sustainability in its business operations by measuring and reducing its carbon footprint and engaging its stakeholders.
Phoenix Managed Services Ltd cares passionately about the environment and recognises the importance of the role the company plays and the importance of the environment for its customers. A reduced carbon footprint is right at the heart of its unique service offering, with a consolidated supply chain, reduced deliveries, reduced paperwork and environmentally responsible removal and recycling of packaging. With its unique ‘Closed Loop Environmentally Approved Recycling’ (‘CLEAR’) programme Phoenix Managed Services offer its clients the ultimate Corporate Social Responsibility solution, including a full recycling programme and zero to landfill policy to positively impact the environment.
Companies working in B2B and facilities industries must grasp the opportunity afforded by sustainability. Many businesses are now actively pursuing a sustainable supply chain, so being able to offer robust and measurable credentials on climate change can be a huge boost to client acquisition and retention.
