This is RPS Consulting Services Limited’s 6th year of business carbon footprint reporting. It first calculated the carbon footprint of its Newark office operations for the year ending December 2013 and set a target to reduce emissions by 5% annually. This year’s footprint includes emissions from naturalgas, fleet, electricity, waste, water, business travel (non-fleet vehicles, air, rail) and paper procurement for its Newark office operations (includes Sherwood House and Loxley House).
RPS’s total carbon footprint in year ending December 2018 was 219.5 tCO2e, an increase of 3.0% from year ending December 2017 The relative carbon footprint was 1.58 tCO2e per employee, a decrease of 11.8 % compared to year ending December 2017
