Office Coffee Company

Office Coffee Company provide ethically sourced coffee to businesses. To ensure sustainability is threaded right the way through the organisation, the Office Coffee Company measure their sustainability with The Planet Mark. Having achieved The Planet Mark since 2011, they have successfully been certified this year with a carbon reduction of 38% per £’000 turnover leaving them with a carbon footprint of 25.9 tCO2e.

Reporting on office energy use, vehicle travel, recycling and water use, there are a number of initiatives that have been introduced to ensure that the carbon reduction target is reached. Electricity is provided by Good Energy, which is 100% renewable energy. In 2013 packaging was changed to 80% recycled content; all of which is 100% recyclable and they have made their procurement more sustainable still by changing to lighter, thinner coffee bags which use less aluminium. Office Coffee Company use DPD parcel delivery services who reduce their carbon footprint through their Total Zero programme.
