Sustainability champions and enlightened leaders were amongst those being celebrated at The Planet Mark Awards, hosted at Sadlers Wells Theatre, on 17th October

The Planet Mark Awards returned for a second year, where guests gathered to celebrate the incredible successes and initiatives of The Planet Mark holders across 12 categories.

The Planet Mark Founder, Steve Malkin welcomed over 200 guests from across the UK to the sold-out ceremony at Sadlers Wells, London, commenting; “The Planet Mark Awards are a timely reminder of how much we can achieve as individuals, organisations and as a collective. I hope they can provide knowledge and optimism that will shape our commitments for 2020 and the start of a critical 10-years for us and every living thing on our planet.”

“We call it the Decade of Action and we hope The Awards will provide a launchpad for us all to be at our transformational best. If ever there was a moment in time to be counted upon, this is it. So it is with particular thanks to Giant Peach and all our sponsors and supporters in making tonight possible.”

One of the highlights of the evening included an inspiring speech from guest speaker; Anna Ledgard; “My role is to weave, often over years, the web of trusting relationships which make deep artistic collaboration possible: engaging with senior managers & CEOs, negotiating with public institutions & private corporations, building new networks for communication and interaction “Me. We. Us. With any meaningful engagement for change we have to start with ourselves with the me.”

The Planet Mark Awards 2019 was delivered with the support of Giant Peach as headline sponsor; “We’re thrilled to support The Planet Mark Awards 2019. At Giant Peach we’ve made a commitment to making a sustainable change, and it is fantastic to see so many fellow Planet Mark holders being acknowledged in the annual celebration.”

“It’s such an honour and privilege to be part of such an inspirational event celebrating good guy brands out there that not only use their brilliant minds as a force for good but with heart as well. At Giant Peach we’ve made a commitment to making a sustainable change, and it is fantastic to see so many fellow Planet Mark holders being acknowledged for their hard work. Together we can.”
